Unlocking Opportunities: Building Floc Connections 💓

On Floc, a "Connection" refers to a person with whom you've established a professional relationship or network. These connections can range from colleagues, classmates, industry peers, or anyone else you know professionally. Connecting on Floc allows you to potentially collaborate or seek opportunities within your professional network.

👫 Connection Type

On Floc, you'll find two types of connections that serve different purposes:

1. Friend: This connection type allows you to connect on a personal level. Share experiences, interests, and build lasting friendships. It's perfect for fostering a more casual and personal relationship on the platform.
2. Co-worker: With this connection, you strengthen your professional network. Collaborate on projects, seek advice, and explore new opportunities together. It's tailored for enhancing professional relationships and working together effectively.

🤝 Connect with People

To expand your opportunities by connecting with others:

1. Visit the profile of the person you wish to connect with.
2. Click the Connect button on their personal info card.
3. Choose your preferred way to connect in the pop-up modal.
4. Click Send to confirm your request.
5. Upon acceptance, notifications will alert you.
6. To cancel a pending request, click on Cancel pending request in the same location and confirm your cancellation.

✅ Accepting Connection Invitation

There are two ways to handle connection requests:

01 Notification Box

When someone wishes to connect, you'll receive a notification. Easily accept or delete all invitations from here – it's quick and straightforward.

02 Connection Page

Prefer a list of all invitations? Follow these steps:

1. Visit the Connection page.
2. Click on the Connection invitation tab.
3. There will be a list of people wanting to connect. Accept or Delete invitations as needed.
4. If you haven't received any requests yet, no worries. Your invitations might be on the way. Take the initiative and connect with others to expand your opportunities.

❌ Canceling Sent Connections

If you change your mind and wish to cancel a connection sent, you have two methods:

01 Connection Page

To view your sent connections:

1. Visit the Connection page.
2. Select Connection sent tab.
3. You'll see a list of pending sent.
4. Click on Cancel request on the person you want to cancel and confirm. They'll be removed from your connection sent.

02 Connection’s Profile

If you're on the connection's profile page:

Click on Cancel pending request in the same spot where you initially sent the request.

⛔ Remove Connection

If you wish to remove someone from your connections:

1. Navigate to the Connection page.
2. Remain on the All connections tab.
3. Locate the person you want to remove, click on the ⋯ icon, and select ⊝ Remove connection.
4. The person will be removed from your connections.
