Step 1 Complete your “Personal Info” card

Sharing personal info with the hirer helps create a complete picture, providing context about your background, contact details, and sometimes personal interests, aiding in the hiring decision, and establishing communication channels.

01 Profile Picture

Using a Floc profile picture for your online presence is a great way to humanize yourself and build trust in professional circles. It makes you easy to approach, improves networking, and leaves a positive first impression. This simple element can greatly impact how others see and connect with you online, showcasing both your professionalism and personality.

Accepted file formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP. Files should not exceed 20 MB in size. The recommended image ratio is 1:1.

  1. Select the edit icon located at the top right of the avatar.

  2. Choose a photo from your device.

  3. Use our cropping tool to fit your photo into the circular frame.

  4. Use the slider to zoom in (slide right) or zoom out (slide left) on your photo.

  5. Upon completion, click the Save button to confirm.

02 Add or Edit Profile and Position

Your profile must be almost filled from when you’re registered to Floc. If you've spotted any empty fields, misspellings or errors, here's how to fix them:

  1. Click on the edit icon located in the top right corner of your personal info card.
  2. Start add or edit your profile details, including:
  3. Once your edits are complete, hit the Save button to apply the changes.

03 Edit Personal Info

Your personal info must be completely filled in from when you’re registered to Floc. If you've spotted any misspellings or errors, here's how to fix them:

  1. Click on the edit icon at the top right of the personal info section.

  2. Pick your 'Birthday' using the date picker.

  3. Edit your location:

  4. Choose ‘Visibility’:

    🌎 Public → Share your personal info with everyone on Floc.

    🔒 Only Me → If you prefer to keep your personal info private.

  5. Once your edits are done, hit Save to apply the changes.

04 Add or Edit Your Professional Info

Adding your professional info helps you get more job opportunities and makes your profile stand out. Sharing your experienced industry builds trust, especially with employers in the same field. Also, mentioning what you're looking for increases your chances of trying new things.

  1. Click on the edit icon at the top right of the professional info section.

  2. Pick your ‘Experienced industry’ (you can choose more than one).

  3. Type in what you're also looking for—maybe something new for you.

  4. Choose ‘Visibility’:

    🌎 Public → Share your personal info with everyone on Floc.

    🔒 Only Me → If you prefer to keep your personal info private.

  5. Once you are done, hit Save to apply the changes.

05 Add or Edit Learn More About Me

In the "Learn More About Me" section, express your passion and current interests. Share what you're into lately, like listening to music or podcasts. For example, drop the name and link of your favorite tune or podcast. This gives a personal touch to your job application, showing your enthusiasm and how your interests match the role or company vibe.

  1. Click on the edit icon at the top right of the learn more about me section.
  2. Choose your 'Passion' from the dropdown that best resonates with you (you can choose more than one).
  3. Select an activity for what you're into lately:

  1. After picking an activity, specify its name and attach the link for others to follow.

  2. Choose ‘Visibility’:

    🌎 Public → Share your passion with everyone on Floc.

    🔒 Only Me → If you prefer to keep your passion private.

  3. After you've finished, click the Save button to apply the changes.

Your contact info is provided for the hirer's use once you're matched with the job or position. Until then, it remains hidden to ensure your privacy.
