A step-by-step guide to designing your perfect portfolio

In Content Editor, we provide tools for creating and showcasing your portfolio. You can customize how you present your portfolio with backgrounds, text, and more. You can also rearrange and prioritize the elements in your portfolio using the Block order.

To create your first portfolio, follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to "My Profile" on the sidebar.
2. Once in your profile, click on the "Portfolio" tab.
3. To get started with your first portfolio, click on Add Portfolio.

These steps will guide you through the process of creating a portfolio for yourself.

Step 1 Choose Background

Background Color

In the content editor, select a background color. If you have the color code (hex code), you can paste it directly.

Step 2 Add/ Insert Block

In this step, you add stuff to your portfolio using Insert block. You can add text, images, GIFs, and URLs. Click + Add block for the first addition, or tap the ⊕ icon in the canvas to add more. The content editor on the right will open the Insert block tab. Choose what type of block you want to add, and you can keep adding, editing, or deleting whenever you like. You can also change the order of the blocks in the editor if you want them in a specific sequence.

Add Text

To describe your portfolio, simply add text in the edit text field. Pick a style for your text: Heading, Subheading, or Body. You can also choose a color for your text using the color picker. If you know the color code (hex code), you can paste it directly.

Edit Text

To change your text, click on the words you want to edit. The system will show those words in the editor, and you can make your changes there.

Delete Text

If you want to delete the text, click on the text you want to delete. The system will display it in the editor, and you can then delete it.

🎨 Files (Image, GIF, Document)

Add Files (Image, GIF, Document)

1. Choose the files you want to add in the insert block bar.
2. Upload the file with the right format, and make sure they're not larger than 20MB.
3. Optionally, add a description for your image, GIF, or document using the alt text field.

Edit Files (Image, GIF, Document)

To change a file, click on it in the canvas. The system will show it on the right side. Edit your file by:

1. Removing the current file and uploading a new one.
2. Changing the alt text.

Delete Files (Image, GIF, Document)

To delete the file, click on the file you want to delete. The system will display it in the content editor, and you can then delete it.

🎨 URL

Add URL

You can put the link to your project in your portfolio. You can also give it a name that shows up in your portfolio instead of a long link. Once you preview or publish your portfolio, it becomes a clickable link.

Edit URL

To change the link, click on it in the canvas. The system will show it on the right side. You can start editing your link and its title.

Delete URL

If you want to delete the URL, click on the URL you want to delete. The system will display it in the editor, and you can then delete it.

Step 3 Block Order

When you're in the content editor, locate the Block order section. Here, you can rearrange the order of each block on your portfolio canvas. To adjust the display order, click and drag the ⋮⋮ icon in front of each block to your preferred position.

Step 4 Revise and Publish

In this final step to create a perfect portfolio, carefully review everything once again. Click on the Preview button to see your portfolio in view mode. If everything looks perfect, click on Publish, and your portfolio is now live!
